-1/4 cup packed brown sugar
-3 tablespoons paprika
-1 tablespoon black pepper
-1 tablespoon black garlic powder
-1 tablespoon dry mustard powder
-4 pounds baby back pork ribs (2 to 3 slabs)
-3 tablespoons vegetable oil Ingredients For BBQ Sauce:
-3/4 cup ketchup
-3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
-2 Tbsp molasses
-3 Tbsp apple juice
-1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-2 Tbsp honey
-2 tsp black garlic powder
-1/2 tsp mustard powder
-2 tsp liquid smoke flavor
-1/2 tsp sea Salt
-1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Directions For Ribs
1.Start prepping the ribs by removing the thin outer membrane on back. Use a butter knife to scrape it back and throw it away
2.Pre heat the oven to 275°F and make sure the rack is in the middle position
3.Use a small mixing bowl to combine the rib seasonings (sea salt, brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, black garlic powder, mustard powder) and whisk them together
4.Use a basting brush to coat the ribs with the vegetable oil
5.Gently rub the ribs with the seasoning mixture
6.Wrap each slab of ribs in foil wrap (heavily wrap them so they’re fully covered)
7.Place the ribs on the center rack and bake for 3 hours

1.Meanwhile make your homemade BBQ sauce by combining all the sauce ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a simmer (medium heat)
2.Whisk the ingredients a few times to ensure they’re thoroughly combined
3.Simmer for 10 minutes and set aside until ribs are done
4.When the ribs are done cooking carefully remove them from the oven and allow to rest
5.Smother both sides with the BBQ sauce and serve!
